We have exciting opportunities for experienced Band 6 nurses to join the team in Children and Young People's Mental Health Services in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. You'll play a vital role in providing high-quality care, supporting young people in need.
What You'll Do:
Conduct quick, accurate assessments to identify individual needs.
Perform comprehensive Mental Health Assessments, including risk assessments.
Effectively refer patients to other clinicians and services when necessary.
Act as a gatekeeper according to established procedures.
Provide leadership and support the team in the absence of the Team Manager.
Deliver timely, intensive interventions for those experiencing mental health crises.
Develop strong relationships and offer expert advice to other services and carers.
Contribute to local and national strategies that improve service quality.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, nurturing their professional development.
What You Bring:
Degree or equivalent qualification in Mental Health Nursing.
Demonstrable experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a background in paediatric settings.
Valid NMC registration.
Up-to-date DBS check with the Update Service.
Right to Work in the United Kingdom ().
